The Center of Southwest Culture provides fiscal sponsorship and other organizational and financial support services to non-profits and grassroots projects and organizations in New Mexico that enhance the health and lives of Indigenous, Latino, and communities of color through their economic, educational, and cultural work.

The Center has offered sponsorship to community-led projects and organizations for more than 20 years because we believe that a robust non-profit and grassroots landscape is key to working with our communities to build health and well-being across all facets of life.

Fiscal sponsorship allows community groups to obtain foundation, government, and other kinds of financial donations for their projects and programs while providing the space and resources to grow.

The Center provides professional training, project planning, basic project management, facilitation, fundraising tools, and more. We currently sponsor over 65 projects. Our sponsored projects have cumulatively generated more than $8.4 million in the past six years.
